1. I have improved upon my macro shooting skills since last year. My new knowledge of ISO sensitivity and importance in up close shots has greatly improved my pictures. Another aspect I've improved upon is taking long exposure photos, In California this summer I took lots of shots of stars and skies which is completely dependent on long exposure to come out well.
2. I enjoy taking pictures of animals and landscapes.
3. Some qualities of a good photo is:
-The purpose of the photo was achieved (in focus, out of focus, long exposure, fast shutter speed, etc.)
-Good lighting
-No mergers!
-No cluttered backgrounds
4. This year I am interested in learning about taking more advanced long exposure shots, and compilations of those shots (star trails)
